In 2019, Wix and NTT TownPage formed a strategic partnership to help bring more businesses — especially SMEs — online in Japan through sophisticated website templates designed for the unique needs of the market here. To deliver this ambitious project, they evaluated more than 80 Japanese agencies. Ultimately, Paradigm was judged to be their ideal digital creative agency partner.
At the kickoff meeting for the project, Paradigm made a presentation to the WIX and NTT TownPage teams. We gave them insights into the current state of web design in Japan, emerging trends, and the direction it may be headed in.
Paradigm’s Director of UI/UX Victor Chia led the design of the website templates. And our IT Project Manager Takahiro Miyagami oversaw strategy. Their teams worked in close collaboration with WIX and NTT TownPage to deliver the project within a demanding timeframe.
In order to design each website template effectively, Paradigm was required to perform extensive, in-depth research on a number of different market segments. Thanks to the teams’ vast experience in Japanese user-interface patterns and behaviors, we arrived at an excellent outcome.
On completion of the work, Wix’s Noa Spiegelman said, “Paradigm Digital Creative, thank you for being the backbone of the project, conducting thorough research, and delivering a very high-level design to meet NTT TownPage and Wix’s needs and standards. It was a pleasure working with everyone. We hope to work and collaborate again in the future.”
